Known for their exceptional craftsmanship and passion towards sound, Canopus Drums has been on our wish list of drums to be in the studio. Thanks for Drumstore Malaysia, we finally got the Groove kit from the Yaiba series into the studio.
The toms are so musical, responsive and lush. Its a breeze to tune up the kit, and the tuning range is very versatile for various types of genre.
It was put straight into music production across genres of Pop, Jazz and Rock music. Feedback from our fellow session drummers were very positive, and all were complimenting about the musical tones, the ability to control the resonance and decay of the toms, and the kit just encourage and inspires them to hit the drums more.
We're dedicated and passionate towards everything audio and music. We specialize in live band recording of all genres, High resolution recording up to DSD 256, audio mixing and mastering. Our commitment stays the same, to give the best quality for your audio/ musical works.

Amanda Bloom @StarMount Studio
Talented Amanda Bloom brought her musical journey to StarMount Studio and we were amazed and mused by her music. It was such an impromptu session as new inputs and variations kept coming and the energy was great.
We had a good 5 days in the studio. We had great sessionist like Lewis Pragasam with his fantastic percussion kit, John Thomas and K7 with his array of Indian flutes. We starting to use the ribbon tubes a lot more often as we felt that its the closest to the natural sound of the acoustic instruments, especially the transients are so smoothly preserved. If we don't need the extras over 16kHz, RT1 of sE will be there.
