Movie Soundtrack with Jeana Ho

We have the gorgeous Hong Kong movie star/model Jeana Ho in StarMount Studio recording one of the OST for her upcoming movie. sE Gemini MK2 was put up for the task. We love how it captures the nuances of her characteristic vocals. With the help of the dual-valve design, warm and lush tone was expected.

Piano Tuning and Recording with Maestro Tay Cher siang

We cater to all of our clients need even you're on a tight schedule. Recently we had a session that requires the piano to be tuned at 441 Hz. We got Mr Chew over for the job, and get it done right before Cher Siang enters the room. A pair of sE 4400a was space paired, 1 ft above the sound board. Fed it through the Neve Portico Pres and Compressors, the recorded piano was full of warmth, without losing the transients.

Soundtrack for Upcoming Drama Series

Artistes and TV hosts were here for their upcoming series to be aired on 8tv. Produced and led by Ng Jin Tat and Bell Foo ( released her debut album recently, check her out!) Nice originals with uplifting beats. We had sE3300 and Gemini for the tasks. We love the projection coming from the 3300, the mids are forward, highs are crisps, giving the artiste more confidence during recording. We fed the signals through the BAE DMP single channel mic pre and massaging the peaks with slight compression with the Portico 5043. It was in separate sessions but we all had fun during recording :)

B.o.B was here, laying down some guitars and bass for upcoming release. Great vibe and nice hooks from the multi talented artiste/producer. We had the first taste of FGN electric guitars and bass guitars from Candor Music. All lines were DI through our favorite Radial JDI Duplex and into Chandler TG II and topped with a slight massage from Neve Portico 5043 Compressors. Nothing is more rewarding than to see wide smiles happy clients :)

Beach Honey (Shanghai) was here for their upcoming singles release. We also had the opportunity to work with Kevin Quah 柯貴民, Singapore based music producer for many A-list artistes in the region.

It has been a great experience being with one of the best music producers in the region, especially on the vocals.
